Dogme Eliphas

Dogme Eliphas is a member of the Eliphas family group and a part of the Green colour group. Dogme has been active member of the Geodecian community attending Destination: Geodecity in 2007, the Grizedale Outpost in 2008 and despite being away whilst the Arena Outpost happened he returned for a few days to assist his fellow Geodecians for preparations for the Geodecity Expo 08. Dogme intends to maintain his attendance in 2009 by getting involved in the Heron Mill Outpost.

Interests:

Dogme is willing to contribute to all aspects of The Geodecity Project, but also has particular interests that will grow and develop with the project:

Geopedia:

Between the physical elements of The Geodecity Project, Dogme has been working hard to ensure communication between Geodecians using online tools, having developed Geopedia in the months that followed Destination: Geodecity he has remained an active contributer. Whilst currently making sure he does four hours a week on the wiki to develop The Geodecity Project, he hopes that one day this will increase to four hours a day, two before morning exercise and two before bed, and that other Geodecians will work with him to transform this online resource into a truly collaborative Geodecian development tool.

Domes:

Dogme has been a key part of the dome construction effort having had previous experience of building Geodesic domes and been involved in the preparation of the flat pack kits. Having been directly involved in both the first and second generation cardboard domes, he worked with Bonus Eliphas, Hokum Fourier and Ishtar Eliphas to develop the current third generation correx dome. Despite some setbacks with earlier dome designs Dogme is confident that we can find an effective solution to the Geodecian housing needs, through a waterproof, warm and comfortable dome design

Bracken:

Dogme is keen to develop a working solution to Grizedale's bracken problem, building on the work started at the Outpost, and also thinks that bracken could have a wider role to play in the future of the Geodecity Project, he has begun researching the subject and likes to get his hands on those fronds whenever possible! One current project involves the development of a proposal for a year-round bracken processing station at Grizedale - more details to be posted soon!
